In 1914, the Hippodrome Theater was central to Baltimore’s cultural landscape. When it was restored and renovated into a performance center with a 2,200-seat auditorium, Morabito Consultants reviewed and assessed the building and adjacent structures and provided expertise to bring the them up to date including reinforcement of balcony slabs, strengthening a roof trusses (for new catwalks), and expansion and modernization of the orchestra pit and stage. Today, the Hippodrome is Broadway’s home in Baltimore.
