Anthony Morabito, PE | Vice President

Tony is a 1977 cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland with more than 35 years in the industry. Even after decades in the structural engineering business, he still enjoys working as part of a team with Morabito engineers and outside designers to create buildings that positively impact society. His favorite project, for example, was the Wilde Lake High School. In addition to meeting the educational needs of the Ellicott City community close to where he lives, he was able to watch the building grow and share that experience with his son Nicholas, who also works with Morabito.

Tony is responsible for project design, overseeing client relationships, and overall project production. He has come to know the unique personality traits of all his employees, which enables him to always get the absolute best from each and every one. He is an extreme multi-tasker and is always juggling numerous projects while always ensuring all deadlines established by the client are met. Though he’s known for his good humor and his ability to laugh at himself and find the bright side of a situation, Tony is all business when it comes to maintaining project schedules and satisfying the client. He’s also experienced at solving unforeseen project obstacles and field emergencies.
