INDEPENDENT LIVING FACILITIES

Mercy Ridge Retirement Community - Structural design of first phase which includes 380,000 sq. ft. Independent Living units with a portion of these buildings constructed over 30,000 sq. ft. of structured parking 45,000 sq. ft. in two (2) story Commons Building; and 30,000 sq. ft. of Assisted Living Facility. The floor construction consists of a composite floor joist system supported by masonry bearing walls and some isolated steel beams and columns and the roofs of these buildings are a combination of bar joists and metal stud trusses. This project is located in Baltimore County, MD.

Mercy Ridge Retirement Community II - Structural design of phase II which includes two, 7-story Apartment building framed with concrete floors supported by Hambro joists on interior and exterior masonry bearing walls - approximately 260,000 sq. ft; single story Assisted Living building with roof structure composed of pre-engineered wood trusses approximately 12,120 sq.ft.; single story Commons Auditorium with roof structure composed of pre-engineered wood trusses approximately 15,000 sq. ft.; single story Pool Building with roof structure composed of heavy timber framing approximately 6,600 sq. ft. located in Baltimore Co., MD.

Asbury Methodist Village - Structural design of renovations/additions to the existing Building #211 including the construction of 65 apartments in a renovated building that will total 147,863 sq. ft. plus the construction of a 3-story, 121 space, precast parking structure totaling 47,700 sq. ft. located in Rockville, MD.

Woodbourne Woods - Structural design of a four (4) story, 71 - one bedroom unit wood framed apartment building at Good Samaritan Hospital, located in Baltimore City, MD.

Carroll Lutheran Village - Structural design of new 2 story 20,000 sq. ft. Wellness/Fitness Center, new 3 story apartment building consisting of 24 independent living units over first floor retail area and 1 story cottages consisting of 20 units laid out in a neo-traditional design located in Westminster, MD.

Heritage at Brentwood - Structural design of 277 apartments, 48 cottages, 60 skilled nursing units, 24 assisted living units and 37,157 sq. ft. commons building totaling 625,866 sq. ft. located in Brentwood, TN.

Redwood Place Apartments - Structural design of eight (8) story, 217,000 sq. ft. apartment building to be constructed on top of an existing eight (8) story parking garage located in Baltimore, MD. The structural system consists of a cast in place post-tensioned concrete slab supported by concrete columns located over 72" deep post-tensioned transfer beams.

Scarlett Place - Structural design of a fourteen (14) story terraced residential condominium totaling 400,000 sq. ft. over a four (4) story, 300 car parking facility located in Baltimore City, Maryland for Scarlett Harbor Associates. This entire structure is a cast in place post-tensioned concrete flat plate supported by concrete columns supported by caissons.

Blakehurst Retirement Community Phase III & IV - Structural design of 114 new residential units in two - (6) story buildings constructed over a basement level parking structure located in Baltimore County, MD. This project also included the design of a new swimming pool enclosed by a Glue-lam structure, the expansion of the Health Center and the remodeling/expansion of the existing dining facility and clubhouse dining room.

Baywoods Life Care Community - Structural design of two (2), six (6) story, 125,000 sq. ft. apartment towers; a three (3) story, 50,000 sq. ft. Community Building; two (2) story, 40,000 sq. ft. Assisted Living Facility; and three (3) level, 115, 000 sq. ft. Parking Structure located in Annapolis, MD. This entire building complex is a cast in place post-tensioned concrete flat plate with concrete columns and spread footing foundation with the exception of the Assisted Living Facility which is constructed of metal roof trusses, composite bar joists and metal stud bearing walls all resting on a post-tensioned concrete flat slab transfer level.

Rosslare Condominiums - Structural design of four (4) identical buildings, with four (4) different foundations to accommodate variations in original and final grades and orientation of the building footprint. Each building is a five (5) story residential condominium over a one (1) level parking structure, totaling 114,000 sq. ft. The structural framing system for these buildings include a wood truss roof and Hambro composite bar joist floor system with precast concrete balcony slabs all supported by interior joist girders, steel beam and wide flange columns and exterior reinforced block masonry bearing walls. This project is located in Baltimore County, MD.

Mays Chapel North - Section 7B - Structural design of three (3) identical buildings with three (3) different foundations to accommodate variations in original and final grades and orientation of the building footprint. Each building is an eight (8) story residential condominium over a one (1) level parking structure, totaling 175,000 sq. ft. The structural framing system for these buildings include a bar joist roof and Hambro composite bar joist floor system with precast concrete balcony slab all supported by interior joist girders, steel beam and wide flange columns and exterior reinforced block masonry bearing walls. This project is located in Baltimore County, MD.

Spring Mill Condominiums - Structural design of four (4) story condominium buildings over a one (1) level parking structure located in Owings Mills, MD. The structure system for these buildings consist of wood truss roofs and floors resting on wood stud bearing walls all supported by a cast in place post-tensioned concrete flat slab transfer level.

Weinberg Woods - Structural design of a four (4) story, 72 unit, residential building located in Baltimore County, MD. The structural frame consists of pitched roof trusses and composite bar joist floors, all supported by light gauge metal stud bearing walls.

Westminster @ Lake Ridge - Structural design of five (5) story, 220,000 sq. ft. post-tensioned flat plate apartment building, 185,000 sq. ft. nursing home/assisted living facility, community center, enclosed pool and 100 single story cottages at the Westminster @ Lake Ridge Retirement Community in Prince William County, VA.
